Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 2026. This policy describes how Stock Theme Radar handles information when you use this website.
About This Site
Stock Theme Radar does not require registration, login, or account creation. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information through forms or accounts. This is a static informational website — we do not operate a customer database or send marketing communications.
Cookies and Analytics
Stock Theme Radar does not currently use Google Analytics or any other analytics or tracking service. No analytics cookies are set, and no visitor behaviour — pages visited, time on site, referring source, geographic region, or anything else — is currently collected by this site.
We may introduce Google Analytics in the future to understand aggregate site usage. If we do, we will update this Privacy Policy and the cookie consent notice first, and request your consent (via the cookie banner) before any analytics cookie is set. At that point this section will describe exactly what is collected and how to opt out — including via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on and your browser’s cookie / Do Not Track settings.
Advertising and Third-Party Cookies
Stock Theme Radar does not currently use Google AdSense or display any third-party advertising. No advertising or tracking cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) are currently set by this site.
We may introduce Google AdSense or another advertising provider in the future. If we do, we will update this Privacy Policy and the cookie consent notice first, and this section will explain exactly which third-party cookies are used, how they work, and how to opt out — for example via Google’s Ads Settings or aboutads.info. You can always manage or disable cookies entirely through your browser settings, regardless of whether any are currently set.
For background on how Google uses data on sites that use its services (relevant only once/if Analytics or AdSense is enabled), see How Google uses data from sites that use our services.
No Persistent User Data
This site does not save your inputs. The Portfolio and Compare tools reflect your selections in the URL (e.g. /portfolio?tickers=AAPL,MSFT), which means your session is not stored anywhere — closing or refreshing the tab clears it. Watchlists are static curated lists, not user-created content. We do not maintain any record of what you entered or viewed.
Hosting Infrastructure
Like all web hosting providers, the infrastructure that serves this site automatically logs standard server access data — including IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, referring URLs, and access timestamps. This data is processed by the hosting provider pursuant to their own privacy policy. We do not independently store or analyze these server logs.
External Links
Research pages include an external link to Google News search results. Clicking that link takes you to Google’s website, where Google’s own privacy policy applies. We do not control what Google collects when you visit their site.
Data Retention
We do not directly collect or retain personal data. Google Analytics data is retained in accordance with Google’s data retention settings and policies. Server log retention is governed by the hosting provider’s own policies.
Children
This site is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in some jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Jurisdiction and Your Rights
This site is operated from Ontario, Canada. Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and applicable provincial privacy legislation) governs our data handling practices.
If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR — including rights to access, correction, and erasure of personal data, and the right to object to certain processing. Because we do not directly collect personal data through forms or accounts, the practical scope of these rights against us is limited. For data held by Google (Analytics and AdSense), requests should be directed to Google through their Privacy Policy.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated as the site evolves. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
