Score Pending — Limited Data
We do not currently have enough commercially displayable fund-specific data to calculate a reliable score. This is not a negative assessment of the ETF.
ETFs on this site are scored by a separate, fund-specific model sourced from official SEC filings (Form N-PORT, N-CEN, Risk/Return Summary) when enough evidence exists -- this is not the same model or scale used for operating-company research pages. How it works →

Fund Overview
XIU is one of the longest-running and most heavily traded Canadian equity ETFs, managed by BlackRock Canada, providing exposure to a fixed set of large, liquid Canadian companies rather than the full breadth of the Canadian stock market.
Index Strategy
XIU tracks the S&P/TSX 60 Index, a market-capitalization-weighted index of 60 of the largest, most liquid companies listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, spanning sectors including financials, energy, materials, and industrials. Index membership and weights are set by S&P Dow Jones Indices, an independent third-party index provider.
Geographic Exposure
All underlying holdings are companies listed on Canadian exchanges, giving the fund concentrated exposure to large-cap Canadian equities; the fund does not hold securities listed on foreign exchanges.
Principal Risks
As a market-capitalization-weighted index fund, XIU.TO carries sector-concentration risk common to the Canadian equity market generally -- particularly to the financials and energy sectors, which together represent a large share of most broad Canadian equity indices by weight. The fund also carries general equity-market risk and single-country risk, since its holdings are limited to companies listed in Canada rather than being globally diversified.
